I had a wonderful time putting this Special Christmas issue together for you.  This issue is free because I wanted to say “thank you” to everyone who has subscribed or taken a look at DIY Decorating Addict.

A few years ago I wanted to make stockings for my mantel.  I didn’t want just ordinary stockings.  I found a sewing pattern that I liked.  It was more like a boot than a stocking but I loved it.  I found the material I wanted to use. It was quite an intricate pattern with ribbons and lining. I don’t have a tutorial on it because I made these a few years ago before I began this magazine.  I really loved how they turned out.
